What Will You Do? Commercial Estimator is a key part of the Lutek commercial sales team who has over decades built long-lasting relationship with general contractors providing design, manufacture and installation of custom window treatments. You will be responsible for responding to requests for bids, building relationships with customers to leran what their needs are and how we can best support them, and accurately estimating the necessary materials, parts, and labor to provide timely quotes. You’ll engage with outside general contractors and Lutek internal teams daily and work closely with the Lutek senior management team to review sales opportunity, pricing and customer satisfaction. You can hone your customer prospecting and sales techniques as you contribute to our list of general contractors.

You will have the opportunity for career growth by learning about the product lines produced by LuTek, and window treatment skills such as measuring, installation, and motorized window coverings (including wireless and wired applications.)

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll be responsible for generating sales and providing timely and accurate estimates along, from both our existing customer base and new customers More details about the responsibilities are:

· Prepare, coordinates and communicates price quotations for projects of all sizes.

· Be the primary contact for all incoming calls and emails from our network of general contractors regarding contracts out for bid.

· Estimate the amounts of materials, parts, manufacturing hours and installation hours for price quotations.

· Follow up with general contractors via phone and email on bid results

· Assist with the selection of products best suited for customers’ project needs.

· Work on assignments to develop new business including relationship building with prospects.

Weekly reporting at senior team member sales meeting on activities such as quotes, sales and new business development activities.

Requirements – What We are Looking For

· Someone who works well independently as well as with the team.

· Friendly and outgoing and appreciates excellent customer service as a goal.

· Ability to build rapport with others.

· Minimum education of high school diploma or G.E.D.

· Minimum experience required – 3 years of experience with building materials.

· Special skills required –

o working knowledge of building materials industry and products

o ability to negotiate prices for contractual agreements

o ability to interpret blueprints and construction drawings

o ability to operate Microsoft office programs

o ability to use takeoff software like Bluebeam

o Ability to learn and become proficient with new product information

· Able to pass a drug test.

· Someone who takes pride in their work.

· Experience working with general contractors, and in window coverings and or/manufacturing installation business all a plus, but not a requirement.

SALARY RANGE

· $25 to $30 per hour per hour

· Our hourly employees are eligible for overtime pay.

· Quarterly bonus program based on sales results.

LOCATION

· This position will work from our Arvada, Colorado offices

· Normal business hours are from 7am-4pm
